Some of our main activities include:

-
Distributing donations to new immigrant families. Donations include clothing, furniture, school supplies, and basic necessities.
-
Assisting with English learning
-
Providing coaching on how to apply for jobs, shop for groceries, pay bills, register for school, and use public transportation.

Our Vision & MISSION
Decent and dignified lives for African immigrants coming to the United States.
Our primary mission is to integrate new immigrants coming to the United States in host communities by helping meet their basic needs and by providing financial, technical, and social support through empowerment, education, and coaching. Our current scope is families arriving in Virginia, North Carolina, and Tennessee. We also provide support for the refugees living in the Nyarugusu Refugee Camp in Tanzania.

WHo We are
Josephat, his wife Jacinta, and their four children arrived in Fredericksburg, Virginia in 2008 from the Mtabila Refugee Camp in Tanzania. Originally from Burundi, Josephat left his home country in 1972 to escape civil war. Inspired by Christian values and by their own experience as refugees and immigrants, Josephat founded the Refugee Donation Cup to empower those facing similar circumstances.
